Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Installation

U151F AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: SPEED SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR (NC SENSOR)

(a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF.
(b) Install the speed sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 11 Nm (112 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

HINT: Make sure to install the same manufacturer's sensor.

(c) Connect the speed sensor connector.

2. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR (NT SENSOR)

(a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF.
(b) Install the speed sensor with the bolt.

Torque: 11 Nm (112 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

HINT: Make sure to install the same manufacturer's sensor.

(c) Connect the speed sensor connector.

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER BRACKET See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air

5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air

7. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner

8. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner
