Introduction
To reduce the possibility of rear brake squeal noise, the rear rotor and anti-squeal shims have been modified.

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles whichever occurs first, from the
vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Confirm the vehicle production date as shown and perform the repair as described below.

A.

Replace the rear brake pads, disc rotor, and anti-squeal shims.

NOTE:

If the vehicle had been previously repaired under TSB BR00599, "Rear Brake Squeal Noise," and has a reoccurrence of rear brake squeal noise,
clean the brake pads and replace the rear disc rotors and anti-squeal shims only.
