Using the plastic pry tool, loosen the wire harness.

Detach the 11 clips holding the harness to the tailgate.

Remove the access plate to gain access to the connector for the tail lights.

A.

Disconnect the 2 harness connectors.

B.

Disconnect the back door courtesy switch.

12.

Install the NEW harness and reassemble the panels.

13.

Confirm that the tail lights operate normally.

14.

Confirm that the Back Door Courtesy Switch (lamp) works properly.
