Starter Motor: Testing and Inspection
Plunger Return Test

1. Install test equipment as outlined under Pull-In Test.
2. Disconnect negative lead from magnetic switch body.
3. Ensure pinion gear moves inward.
4. If pinion gear movement is not as indicated, replace magnetic switch.
