Parking Brake Lever: Testing and Inspection
Check Parking Brake Lever Travel
1. Check Parking Brake Lever travel.

Pull the Parking Brake Lever all the way up, and count the number of clicks.

Lever travel @ 196 N (44 lbs.) 7 - 9 clicks
2. If necessary, adjust Parking Brake Lever travel. See: Adjustments
NOTE: Before adjusting the Parking Brake, make sure that the Rear Brake Shoe clearance is correct.
