Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair
REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING GEAR
1. Remove the semi-circular plug.
2. Place the matchmarks on the camshaft timing gear and timing chain.
3. Hold the intake camshaft with a wrench, remove the bolt and distributor gear.
4. Remove the camshaft timing gear and chain from the intake camshaft and leave on the slipper and damper.
