Installation Note: After stabilizing the suspension, torque the bolt to 177 Nm (130 ft. lbs.).
b. Remove the bolt and lateral control rod from the axle housing.
Installation Note: After stabilizing the suspension, torque the bolt to 245 Nm (181 ft. lbs.).
3. Reverse procedure to install.
LATERAL CONTROL ROD BUSHING REPLACEMENT
1. Using the 09550 - 10012 (09553 - 10010), 09710-22021 (09710-01071) SSTs and a press, remove the bushing.
2. Using the 09550 - 10012 (09553 - 10010), 09710-22021 (09710-01071) SSTs and a press, install a new bushing.
