(a) Install the manifold stay with the bolt and nut.
Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 33 ft-lbf)
6. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Oxygen Sensor/Service and Repair/Air
Fuel Ratio Sensor/Installation
7. INSTALL NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR
(a) Install the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
8. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a vernier caliper, measure the free length of the compression spring.
If the free length is less than the minimum, replace the compression spring.
(b) Remove the remains on exhaust manifold converter with wire brush.
(c) Fully insert a new gasket to the exhaust manifold.
