Strut Tower Brace: Procedures

FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT STRUT BAR: DISPOSAL

1. DISPOSE OF SUSPENSION TOWER DAMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Fully extend the suspension tower damper assembly.

(b) Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder between A and B shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

A to B:

10 mm (0.394 in.)

NOTICE:

Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about, so always use the proper safety equipment.

The gas is colorless, odorless and non-poisonous.
