3. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE CABLE (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)   See: Disc Brake System/Service and Repair/Removal and

4. DISCONNECT REAR SPEED SENSOR WIRE (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector from the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the rear speed sensor.

5. DISCONNECT REAR SPEED SENSOR WIRE (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disconnect the connector from the rear speed sensor.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the rear speed sensor.

6. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER PROTECTOR (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)   See: Parking Brake System/Parking Brake

(a) Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor    See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Wheel Hub/Service and

Repair/Rear Axle Hub (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)/Removal.

If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor.

The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor. If the sensor
malfunctions, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor.
