Introduction
Some 2009 - 2010 model year Corolla and Matrix vehicles equipped with a 2ZR-FE engine may exhibit a squealing noise coming from the engine
compartment during vehicle operation. Please use the following repair procedure to address this condition.
Production Change Information
This TSB applies to all NUMMI built (VINs starting with 1NX) and to TMMC built vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change
Effective VINs shown.
Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
from the vehicle's in-service date.
