has slipped out, replace the V-ribbed belt. (Go to step 4.)

C. Check the V-ribbed belt deflection and tension.

If the belt deflection is not as specified adjust it following the procedures in steps 6 and 7 in this bulletin.

3. Confirm that the noise is no longer present.

If the noise is no longer present STOP Do NOT replace the belt. Repair is complete. If the noise is still present replace the V-ribbed belt.
Continue to step 4.
