Torque : 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR   See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Oxygen Sensor/Service and

3. INSTALL TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a vernier caliper, measure the free length of the compression spring.

(b) If the free length is less than the minimum, replace the compression spring.

(c) Fully insert a new gasket to the front exhaust pipe assembly.

NOTICE:

Be sure to install the gasket in the correct direction.

Do not reuse the gasket.

*

Do not damage the gasket.

(d) Connect the tail exhaust pipe assembly to the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

(e) Install the tail exhaust pipe assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

Torque : 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

4. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
