Disassembly

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING UNIT: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY ECU   See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Alarm Module/Service and

Repair/Transponder Key ECU/Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped, disengage the claw and remove the No. 2 heater control cable sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped, disengage the claw and remove the air mix damper control cable sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)

(a) Disengage each clamp.

(b) Remove the 2 screws.

(c) Remove the quick heater assembly as shown in the illustration.
