Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ACCELERATOR PEDAL: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.

(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Accelerator Position No. 1, Accelerator Position No. 2.

(d) Read the values displayed on the Techstream.

Accelerator Position No. 1 Standard Voltage:

Accelerator Position No. 2 Standard Voltage:

(e) If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness and ECM.
