Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
Installation

AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL: STEERING KNUCKLE: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING KNUCKLE

(a) for 2ZR-FE:

(1) Using SST and a press, install a new front axle hub bearing to the steering knuckle.

(b) for 2AZ-FE:

(1) Using SST and a press, install a new front axle hub bearing to the steering knuckle.

2. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE DUST COVER   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

3. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB HOLE SNAP RING   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT   See: Ball Joint/Service and Repair/Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

7. CONNECT FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM   See: Ball Joint/Service and Repair/Installation

8. CONNECT TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)   See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Installation

9. CONNECT TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 4WD)   See: Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Installation
