Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair
Removal

DOOR / HATCH: FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly (w/o Seatback Board)/Removal
4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Assembly (w/o Seatback Board)/Removal

32. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Removal

35. DISCONNECT FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt.
(b) Disconnect the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
