Installation

FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER (for 2WD): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Front Stabilizer

Bar/Installation

2. INSTALL STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair/Installation
3. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM LH See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Control Arm/Service and

Repair/Front Lower Suspension Arm/Installation

4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM RH

HINT:  Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER DYNAMIC DAMPER (for 2ZR-FE)

(a) Install the front suspension member dynamic damper.

6. TEMPORARILY INSTALL CENTER ENGINE MOUNTING MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily install the center engine mounting member sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

7. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) While alternately inserting SST into the reference holes on the front suspension crossmember RH and LH, tighten the 2 bolts (A), 2 bolts (B),

2 bolts (C), bolt (D) and 3 nuts (E) on the RH and LH sides to the respective specified torque in several steps.
