Removal

2AZ-FE COOLING: RADIATOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT See: Coolant/Service and Repair
5. REMOVE BATTERY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Spoiler) See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal
7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Spoiler) See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair/Removal
8. REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY
9. DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE

(a) Disconnect the radiator reservoir tank hose from the radiator assembly.

10. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose and hose clamp.

11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

12. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE (for Automatic Transaxle) See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Removal

13. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT
