(a) Install the water by-pass hose with the 2 clamps.
(b) Connect the water by-pass hose to the radiator assembly with the clamp.

8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release Cable/Service and

Repair/Installation

9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

(a) Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the 2 upper radiator supports.

(b) Install the 2 upper radiator supports with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

10. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE (for Automatic Transaxle) See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Assembly/Installation

11. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the radiator assembly with the clamp.

12. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Connect the No. 1 radiator hose and clamp.

13. CONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE

(a) Connect the radiator reservoir tank hose to the radiator assembly with the clamp.

14. INSTALL THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL BATTERY See: Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation
16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
17. ADD ENGINE COOLANT See: Coolant/Service and Repair
18. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK See: Testing and Inspection
