Standard exhaust valve clearance (cold):
0.38 to 0.48 mm (0.0150 to 0.0189 in.)

EXAMPLE:
The 5.340 mm (0.2102 in.) lifter is installed, and the measured clearance is 0.510 mm (0.0201 in.). Replace the 5.340 mm (0.2102 in.) lifter
with a new No. 42 lifter.

(l) Install the selected valve lifter.
(m)Install the camshaft See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Installation.
(n) Install the No. 2 camshaft See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Installation.
(o) Install the No. 1 chain tensioner See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Installation.

9. INSTALL CYLINDER HEAD COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Camshaft, Lifters and Push Rods/Camshaft/Service and Repair/Installation

10. INSTALL SPARK PLUG See: Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Installation
11. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY See: Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Installation
12. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
13. INSPECT IGNITION TIMING See: Testing and Inspection/Engine
14. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Assembly/Installation
