Removal

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service Precautions/Lower Instrument Panel
2. TURN FRONT WHEELS TO FACE STRAIGHT AHEAD
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system

4. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM See: Service and Repair
5. DISCONNECT SUCTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Air Conditioning Unit/Removal
