2AZ-FE EMISSION CONTROL: PCV VALVE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal

2. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT:  The ventilation valve sub-assembly is the PCV valve.

(a) Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, remove the ventilation valve sub-assembly.
