30. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING LH See: Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber/Service and Repair/Rear

Shock Absorber (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)/Installation

31. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING RH

HINT:  Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

32. INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT  See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Rear Wheel Alignment (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension).
33. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD (w/ VSC)
34. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ VSC)

NOTE:  Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal for more than 2 seconds.

35. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ VSC)
36. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (w/ VSC)  See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction

Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

37. CHECK STEERING ANGLE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (w/ VSC)  See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control

Systems/Testing and Inspection/Diagnostic Trouble Code Tests and Associated Procedures/C Code Charts/C1290.

38. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ ABS)  See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and

Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/ABS (Antilock Brake System)/Test Mode Procedure.

39. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ VSC)  See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and

Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Vehicle Stability Control System/Test Mode Procedure.
