(c) Use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the rear shock absorber piston rod and remove the nut.
(d) Remove the rear No. 1 shock absorber cushion washer.

43. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT
44. REMOVE REAR SPRING FRONT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
45. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
46. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING UPPER INSULATOR
47. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SPRING BUMPER
48. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
49. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING

(a) Remove SST and the rear coil spring.

NOTE:  Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.

Installation

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
2. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING

(a) Using SST, compress the rear coil spring.

NOTE:  Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.
