Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Installation

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Front Door): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

HINT:
-

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

NOTE:  The regulator arm must be below the intermediate position when installing the front power window regulator motor assembly.

(a) Using a "TORX" driver (T25), install the front power window regulator motor assembly with the 3 screws.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

HINT:  A new front window regulator uses self-tapping screws to thread new installation holes when the self-tapping screws are inserted.

4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/o Power Door Lock) See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Power Door Lock) See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

Repair/Reassembly

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/o Front No. 2 Speaker) See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and Repair/Reassembly

8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/ Front No. 2 Speaker) See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

11. INSTALL FRONT ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

Repair/Reassembly

12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Service and

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
