Install the outer cable to the cable clamp while slightly pressing it in the direction of the arrow.

Verify Correct Operation.

A.

Operating the mode control lever, check that it properly stops at both ends of face and defrost.

B.

With the ignition on, turn the blower control to high.

C.

Turn the mode control switch to defrost.

D.

Turn the mode control switch counterclockwise, from defrost to bi-level mode, noting the amount of air flow coming from the center vents
when in the bi-level mode.

E.

Turn the mode control switch to face.

F.

Turn the mode control switch clockwise, from face to bi-level mode, noting the amount of air flow when in the bi-level mode.

G.

The amount of air flow from the center vents, when in the bi-level position, should be the same when turning the mode switch
counterclockwise or clockwise.
