10) Install the control shaft lever, washer and nut.
Torque: 12.7 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.)
11) Connect the park/neutral position switch connector.
6. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT CABLE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SHIFT
a. Temporarily install the control cable to the control shaft lever with nut.
b. A246E/U341F: Install the control cable with the clip to the bracket.
NOTICE: Insert the cable securely.
c. U240E: Install a new clip to the bracket.
d. U240E: Connect the control cable to the bracket.
NOTICE: Insert the cable securely.
7. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER
a. Install the battery carrier and 4 bolts.
Torque: 13 Nm (132 kgf-cm, 10 ft. lbs.)
8. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION
9. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION
10. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
