ROOF SIDE-RAIL WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES

To replace MR2 T-top panel side-rail weatherstrip, follow the procedures below.

Note:

Assembly and disassembly procedures for removable T-top roof are found in 1991 MR2 Repair Manual.

ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL

Remove the two screws (one at each end of the roof side-rail weatherstrip) securing the weatherstrip to the glass sub-assembly (see
Figure 1).

Remove the weatherstrip and butyl tape sealant remaining on the glass sub-assembly in the indicated areas shown in Figure 2.
