Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE
-
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
Disconnecting Fuel Inlet Hose From Fuel Rail
-
Slowly loosen the union bolt for the fuel inlet pipe from the fuel rail.
-
When fuel pressure is released, re-tighten union bolt.
Torque: 22 ft.lbs. (30 Nm)

Wipe off any splattered gasoline.
-
Reconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
