Disable airbag system, refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts/Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems)/Service and Repair.

2.

Remove headlight door covers.

3.

Remove hood lock protector rear plate, Fig. 61.

4.

Disconnect sensor electrical connectors.

5.

Remove sensor attaching screws, then remove.

6.

Reverse to install. Ensure sensor arrow is facing toward front of vehicle, Fig. 62.
