Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

Refer to Fig. 1 and check clutch pedal height, which should measure 6.18-6.57 inches on 1989 models or 7.2-7.6 inches on 1991-92 models. If
specified clutch pedal height cannot be obtained, remove instrument panel lower trim panel and air duct, loosen locknut and turn adjusting bolt
until specified clutch pedal height is obtained.

After correct clutch pedal height is obtained, tighten locknut.

Refer to Fig. 1 and check pedal freeplay. Depress clutch pedal until clutch resistance is obtained, then check freeplay, which should measure
.20-.59 inch.

4.

Check clutch cylinder pushrod play at top of pedal. Play should be .039-.197 inch.
