Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection
Injection Inspection

INJECTORS INJECTION INSPECTION: 

CAUTION: Keep injector clear of sparks during the test.

1. INSPECT INJECTOR INJECTION.

Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the fuel inlet hose from the fuel filter outlet.

Connect a union (SST 90405-09015) and hose to the fuel filter outlet with 2 gaskets and union bolt.

Torque: 29 Nm (22 ft.lb)

Remove the pressure regulator from the delivery pipe.

-

Install a new 0-ring to the fuel inlet of pressure regulator.

-

Connect a hose to the fuel inlet of the pressure regulator with a union (SST 09268-41090) and the 2 bolts.

Torque: 5.4 Nm (48 ft.lb)

Connect the fuel return hose to the fuel outlet of the pressure regulator with a union (SST 09268-41080), 2 gaskets and union bolt.
