Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
Front Airbag Sensor
1. Disarm SRS as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming and Arming.
2. Remove hood lock protector rear plate and headlamp door covers, Fig. 53.

3. Disconnect sensor electrical connectors.
4. Remove sensor mounting nut and bolt, then sensor.
5. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring sensor arrow points toward vehicle front and tighten nuts and bolts to specifications.
