Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair
Combination Switch

Removal/Installation

1.

On models with audio coded anti-theft system, disable system as outlined under Technician Safety Information.

2.

On models with airbag, disable airbag system as described under Technician Safety Information. Disconnect battery ground cable.

3.

Remove steering wheel.

4.

Remove steering column upper and lower covers.

5.

Disconnect combination switch connectors, remove combination switch.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Arm airbag system. If audio system was disabled, activate as outlined under Technician Safety Information.

Refer to Figs. 5  and 6 for component replacement procedure.
