1.

Remove brake caliper and rotor disc. Inspect bearing play in axial direction, if more than 0.0020 inch, replace bearing.

2.

Remove ABS sensor, if equipped.

3.

Place scribe marks on knuckle and strut for wheel alignment cam locations.

4.

Loosen bolts and nuts holding knuckle to strut. Remove nuts and leave bolts in place.

5.

Disconnect lower ball joint and tie rod end. Using puller tool No. 09610-00012, or equivalent, remove tie rod end from steering knuckle.

6.

Remove two bolts from strut and remove steering knuckle.

7.

Reverse procedure to install, refer to Tightening Specifications for torque values.
