1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove steering wheel, then the rear console box, Fig. 27.

3.

Set parking brake, then remove ashtray from console. Remove console attaching screws, then with rear of console raised, remove console.

4.

Remove glove compartment door arm attaching screws, then the door check screws with door.

5.

Remove glove compartment.

6.

Remove one attaching screw from front side of scuff plate, then the cowl side trim board. Remove door lock striker, then the 4 instrument panel
under cover attaching screws and cover.

7.

Remove one attaching screw from front side of scuff plate, then the cowl side trim board. Remove foot lock lever. Remove 4 lower panel attaching
screws, then disconnect electrical connectors and remove panel.

8.

Remove two upper instrument cluster finish center panel attaching screws, then the panel from lower side. Disconnect electrical connector.
