Using plug wrench (16 mm), remove the spark plugs.

6. Set No. 1 cylinder to TDC/compression.

(a) Turn the crankshaft pulley and align its groove with the idler pulley bolt.
(b) Remove the oil filler cap and check that you can see the cavity in the camshaft. If necessary, turn the crankshaft pulley one complete

revolution.

7. Remove RH engine mounting insulator.

(a) Disconnect the high-tension cords from the ignition coil.
(b) Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold.
(c) Slightly raise the engine with a jack.

NOTE:  Place a wooden block between the jack and engine.

(d) Remove the mounting through bolt.

(e) Remove the two nuts, bolt and RH engine mounting insulator.

8. Remove crankshaft pulley.
