1.

Raise and support vehicle.

2.

Remove cotter pin and castle nut, Fig. 10.

3.

Using tool 09610-20012 or equivalent, disconnect lower arm from ball joint.

4.

Remove two nuts and disconnect strut bar from lower arm.

5.

Remove the bolt and lower arm from the body.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque ball joint castle nut to 58 ft. lbs., the strut bar to lower arm attaching bolts to 83 ft. lbs. Lower vehicle and
allow the weight to rest on suspension. Bounce vehicle several times to settle suspension, then torque lower arm to body attaching bolt to 94 ft. lbs.
