Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Front Speed Sensor Components
REMOVAL
Disconnect Speed Sensor Connector
1. Disconnect Speed Sensor connector.
(a) Remove the fender liner.
(b) Disconnect the Speed Sensor connector.
2. Remove Speed Sensor.
(a) Remove the 2 clamp bolts and a clip holding the sensor harness to the body and Shock Absorber.
Torque: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Remove Speed Sensor From Steering Knuckle
(b) Remove the Speed Sensor from the Steering Knuckle.
Torque: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: After installation, check Speed Sensor signal.
