Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Testing and Inspection
No. 1 Cooling Fan Motor
INSPECTION
1. Inspect No. 1 cooling fan.
(a)
Disconnect the cooling fan connector.
(b) Connect battery and ammeter.
(c)
Check that the cooling fan rotates smoothly, and check the reading on the ammeter.
Standard amperage:
5.7 - 7.7 amps Manual Transaxle (M/T).
8.6 - 11.6 amps Automatic Transaxle (A/T).
(d) Reconnect the cooling fan connector.
