Low Oil Pressure Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT LOW OIL PRESSURE SWITCH CONTINUITY

1. Disconnect the connector from the switch.
2. Check that there is continuity between terminals and ground with the engine stopped.
3. Check that there is no continuity between terminals and ground with the engine running.

HINT:  Oil pressure should be over 30 kPa (0.3 kgf/Sq.cm, 4.4 psi). If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
