Headlamp Relay: Testing and Inspection
Integration Relay - Light Auto Off System
LIGHT-ON WARNING SYSTEM INSPECTION
1. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY OPERATION
a. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and 11.
b. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminals 8.
c. Check that the chime sounds.
b. Return to step (a), and operate the chime again.
e. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 9.

Check that the chime stops sounding.
If operation is not as specified. replace the relay.
2. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY CIRCUIT
Remove the relay from the instrument panel junction block and inspect the connectors on the junction block side.
If the circuit is as specified. try replacing the relay with a new one.
If the circuit is not as specified. inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
