Throttle Body: Service and Repair
COMPONENTS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL
1. Drain engine coolant
2. Remove air cleaner cap
(a) Disconnect these connectors and hoses:
-
IAT sensor connector
-
VSV connector
-
PCV hose
-
EVAP hose
(b) Disconnect the VSV for EVAP and remove the air cleaner cap.
3. Disconnect control cables from throttle body
Disconnect these cables:
(1) Accelerator cable
(2) A/T throttle cable
4. Remove throttle body
(a) Disconnect these connectors and hoses:
