Front
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
1. Measure the vehicle height.
Vehicle Height
Tire Size: P185/60R14
Height (Front): 188 mm (7.40 inch).
Height (Rear): 249 mm (9.80 inch).
Front
a. To get the front measuring point, measure from the ground to the center of the lower suspension arm front mounting bolt.
Rear
b. To get the rear measuring point, measure from the ground to the center of the axle beam mounting bolt.
NOTE: Before inspecting the wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specification. If the vehicle height is not within the specification,
try to adjust it by pushing down on or lifting the body.
2. Install a camber-caster-kingpin gauge and place the wheel onto the wheel alignment tester.Make sure to follow the specific instruction of the
equipment manufacturer.
3. Inspect the camber, caster and steering axis inclination.
The camber reading should be -0°25' ± 45' (-0.42° ± 0.75°).
The left-right error should be 45' (0.75°) or less.
The caster reading should be 1°30' ± 45'(1.5° ± 0.75°).
The left-right error should be 45' (0.75°) or less.
The steering axis inclination reading should be 12° 15' ± 45' (12.25° ± 0.75°).
The left-right error should be 45' (0.75°) or less.
