3. If the vehicle has cruise control, remove the two cruise control actuator assembly set bolts, then loosen the cruise control actuator assembly.
4. Remove the drive belt after loosening the pump assembly set bolt, nut and adjusting bolt.
5. Remove the power steering vane pump assembly after removing the pump assembly set bolt and nut.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the power steering vane pump assembly and temporarily install the two pump assembly set bolts.
2. Install the drive belt and do the following.
a. Adjust the drive belt tension and tighten the adjusting bolt.
b. Tighten the power steering vane pump assembly set bolt to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.) and the nut to 39 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
3. If the vehicle has cruise control, tighten the two cruise control actuator assembly set bolts to 6 Nm (45 inch lbs.)
4. Connect the pressure feed tube and tighten the union bolt to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.) over a new gasket.
NOTE: Make sure the tube is touching the stopper of the pressure feed No.2 tube, as shown, then tighten the union bolt.
5. Connect the return hose.
6. Bleed the power steering system.
