NOTE: When installing the brake hose, tighten it to 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
3. If the vehicle has ABS, remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness from the shock absorber.
NOTE: When installing the wire harness tighten it to 5.0 Nm (48 inch lbs.).
4. Remove the two nuts and bolts and disconnect the shock absorber from the steering knuckle.
NOTE: When installing the nuts and bolts back onto the shock, first coat the nut's threads with engine oil, then tighten them to 153 Nm (113 ft.
lbs.).
5. Remove the shock absorber and the coil spring by doing the following.
a. Remove the four nuts on the upper side of the shock absorber.
NOTE: When installing the nuts, tighten them to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
b. Remove the shock absorber and the coil spring.
INSTALLATION
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

check front wheel alignment.
