Air Injection Control Valve: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Control Valve
Pickup & 4Runner, Except California & Cab & Chassis
1.
Disconnect vacuum hose from second lowest port of VCV.
2.
Connect this port directly to intake manifold.
3.
Disconnect vacuum hoses from two uppermost ports of VCV.
4.
With engine running at idle, ensure there is no vacuum at second highest port.
5.
Ensure vacuum is momentarily felt at second highest port when vacuum hose is connected to uppermost port.
6.
Connect all vacuum lines at proper locations.
