Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair

1.

Label, disconnect and cap brake lines from master cylinder and wire connectors from brake warning switches.

2.

Disconnect vacuum hose from power brake unit.

3.

Disconnect pushrod from brake pedal.

4.

Remove brake unit to dash panel attaching nuts, then remove brake unit and master cylinder as an assembly.

5.

Remove master cylinder from brake unit.
