EFE Relay: Testing and Inspection

1.

Disconnect electrical connectors to relay.

2.

Check continuity between terminals in each connector. Terminals in small connector should have continuity while terminals in large connector
should have no continuity.

3.

Connect battery voltage across terminals in small connector. With relay energized, terminals in large connector should have continuity.

4.

If relay fails to perform as outlined, relay is defective.
